Following is the class schedule for the 2010-2011 school
year. If you are interested in registration information,
please call 503-591-0604 or email
our registrar. Also, see our forms: Parent Responsibilities and Registration Form Our Programs: CCC's schedule is organized by class name, child's age,
class time and cost. Our multi-age Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms
register an equal number of each age assuring a balanced classroom. Our classes
allow older students to take leadership roles, while the younger children
benefit from the natural security mixed-age grouping provides. Children are
able to reach their potential based on their individual stage of development
regardless of age. We believe that a creative environment, dedicated teachers
and parental involvement are the keys to our success. Parents may combine T/TH
and M/W/F preschool classes for a five-day option. Our Special Staff:
Creative Children's Center is proud to have a superb teaching staff. Each member of our
professional teaching team has a college degree in Early Childhood Education or
a related field. Years of classroom teaching round out their experiences,
creating a staff that loves working together for the betterment of the child.
Under the leadership of our Director Lucy Chaille, the team meets often to
access the program and meet professional standards. When selecting a class, keep
in mind that all the teachers are exceptionally qualified and will do their very
best to meet your child's needs socially, emotionally and academically each and
every day. Parent Help vs. Non-Help: CCC operates as a parent/child
participation school. However, we understand that not all parents can help in
the classroom. Therefore we offer two options. Parents may select to work as
parent helpers and receive a reduced tuition, or pay the regular tuition if
unable to help. How many times a parent is required to help monthly is
established by the age of the children and how often the class meets. The
difference in tuition prices is determined by the cost of hiring additional
teaching support for the classes as needed to replace non-helpers. This ensures
a strong adult to child ratio in each class. If you are struggling with which class to choose, Teacher
Lucy offers some valuable insight in "How
to Pick a Class". ©2007 Creative Children's Center.
