Center has a wonderful lineup for our Summer Creativity Camp
offerings. Please download our 2010 Summer Creativity Camp brochure for a registration form. CCC's summer program celebrates the outdoors! Our 100 x 200 foot playground is designed for
"natural" fun. Summer brings new special areas for adventure and play!
Find the magic in science, the imagination in art, and the joy in
summer learning! With our
interdisciplinary approach, CCC Summer camps incorporate the arts,
sciences, and literature into every session making them both fun and
educational.

Get out the paint and clay; wire and wood; fiber and metal, as
we find artist within! Grab
a brush and a palette as we combine art elements with technique and
imagination. From sculpture
to portraits, your masterpieces will appear!

Jump into summer with a
splash
of wet and wild fun! A slip-n-sliding good time will be had by all in
this week of water mania.
From splashy arts and crafts, to wet and wild science, H20 becomes a
tool of expressive fun and thought! You’ll dash with your friends into
the pool, slip-n-slide down the lawn, and race through the sprinkler!
Experiments & messy art abound as we make drippy icky slime,
spray paint t-shirts, and play games with bubbles and balloons!
Each day we will celebrate the great outdoors!
Caring for ourselves is good to
start young! As children’s
bodies grow so do their minds.
This adventurous full day camp of health and fitness includes;
gardening, cooking, exercise, and safety skills.
Each morning participants will spend some time exercising,
playing physical games, planting in the garden, and cooking lunch. In
the afternoon, we will study safety skills; including fire safety,
water, biking, and personal safety, learning how to keep ourselves “too
smart for danger”. Art and
stories will finish off our day of fun!
Students will share what they learned at the end of the week in
a “Happy Healthy Me!” presentation.
Week 6: August 1 – 5
Things that fly, grow, creep, and crawl; what can we
find in CCC’s nature playground?
Ecoliteracy is the new buzz word, and this camp takes it all in!
Ever wonder how it works together?
A puzzle of plants and creatures create a world of super science
that intrigues and inspires all.
Gardening, worm bins, seeds, flowers, bugs, bats, birds, and
butterflies will all be invited to join the fun!
Naturalists to the rescue as we learn to care and connect with
the great outdoors!
